About Us
Ruth's Bridal Place is a certified and licensed company, named after the owner, Ruth Heyward-Washington. She is a retired Media Specialist who received training and certification from The School of Bridal Consulting, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Ruth is now living her dream of assisting couples with their "Special Day".
Ruth's Bridal Place wedding consulting expertise includes hands-on training as a wedding consultant by working many weddings with other wedding consultants. This encompasses weddings in the Charleston area and other locations. Other destination working/training includes: McComb, Mississippi; Hamburg, Arkansas; Bossier City, Louisiana and Monroe, Louisiana.
Our logo is the engagement ring with the cross inside, which serves as a reminder to the couple that they plan to get married.
